I selected read profiles but I seldom meet anyone here. A photo is like the cover of a book it draws you in but you have to read it to know if you will like.

I detect a flaw in your polling methodology, in that people who don't read profiles probably don't pay much attention to blog polls either You Know just saying  Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

First I go to the compatibility chart to see if it is worth reading the profile. Please don't let me be misunderstood.

Your torso pic does not look like a 64 yo man either. So, you are in good shape just as she looks younger. It happens. Not all are dishonest here.

I look at photos to see how old they are. If they are old, I don't even bother to read the profile or to respond to them. If the profile isn't filled out, again, no response. I've taken the time to put a current photo and a completed profile up here. If I don't see the same, then I don't see the point. It doesn't have to be a novel, but effort needs to be made. And if marital status is skipped, I'm not interested.

my tastes and wants change, i've got my profile to the point that for the most part, i'm not swamped with men constantly asking me to fuck. i like chat rooms, reading blogs and stories, watching cams, dirty talk, regular talk. it just depends on the day. so trying to fit all that into a profile, means a really long one, and i hate reading those. you can put anything into a profile, and there will be someone interested.

I tend to look at photos before I decide whether to read their profiles. I really don't need to see nude pictures to find them attractive enough to read about them .

I am not a payed up member so reading profiles isn't easy. I always read the limited text that is available to me and if someone really interests me I pay to become a fan and se their profile that way.

Some folks want to give their entire life story, plus a sexual manifesto, and a complete buzzkill rulebook in their profiles. If a profile requires a scroll down to complete, I am probably not reading the whole thing.

It's important to read profiles one can garner so much information from them. Preferences sure but more importantly it's the tone in which they're written that tells the whole story.Any contradictions are even better. The single ones are almost always of a married couple or women with boyfriends. Sadly nothing has changed. Using more than all the road!

The answer to this is that there are men, not all, but many that sign in as a woman or a couple so they can earn the free views and be able to read women's profiles without having to pay the site a fee. I have had many messages from a woman's profile and it is a guy and they usually send the "I am using a friend's profile and saw yours and want to talk with you" line or some variation of it. There may be some women that let men friends log into their profile and look for women on it, but I am sure that number is minuscule; however, it is a way that these guys can get around paying for a membership more than women friends letting them use a woman's profile on here. As for the couples, basically the same thing. They can get away with it a bit more because they can use the excuse of the women part wasn't available or couldn't make it for the meet. I have heard from friends I talk to on here that ARE couples that they get these messages constantly from other supposed couples. I have also had single men friends on here, as well as seen it posted in the blogs/advice lines, that these guys have contacted couples and get there only to find it is just the guy. In that case I would say it is a closeted gay man. For the couples getting contacted by a guy posing as a couple, they think they can just get the threesome and many don't want the gay part, just the wife. As they see this as a 'sex site' and ONLY a sex site they assume it will work. I am sure some score, but I don't think it is the majority of the time. I have heard most of them just get angry and walk out when they find out it was just a guy posing. Lying is never a good way to start anything.

The pictures grab my attention, then I read the profile. It’s a must if I’m going to try to contact her. You must personalize the initial contact or you’ll get ignored. Different for females though.

Look for a good picture but also read intro or catchy title. Get to know each other in chat/text over reading a self made book. Starting without all the facts can be fun too

As a standard I can only see profile previews anyway so its pics for me initially

When I was gold I read profiles. Now I can not so I just read the blogs.
